"BabyMoon"

I have read on all these pregnancy websites that you should go on a "babymoon" before you have the baby because travel will be out for a while after the baby comes. So Chris, the wonderful husband he is, planned a surprise long weekend to Two Harbors for us. We had such a wonderful time. We went hiking and relaxed. It was so beautiful up north with all the colors!

Hiking was so great. We went to Gooseberry Falls and hiked up to the upper falls. Neither of us had ever been up there. Chris was so great, and patiently hiked at the pregger ladies pace. The dog though he should be able to move at his pace, but he was so great. I think that Bear though he died and went to doggie heaven.

Sunday morning we went up to Split Rock Lighthouse. We had a great time on the beach with Bear running in and out of the water. The lighthouse looked so cool with all the fall colors around it.

Here are some awesome pictures from the weekend:

Baby Update

Had a doctor appointment today. Baby is doing really well she is measuring normal and has a good strong heartbeat! I am at 25 weeks already! Wow time flies. Have to go in for the long GD test. I was 3 points too high. So I get to hang out in a lab for 3 hours. Ah well ;)

More later!

Long time gone

It's been a long time since I have written anything on here. Seems like our lives are not too interesting lately.

We are excited to say we are adding to our family. Chris and I are expecting our first baby in January 2009! We are very excited to give Connor a little sister. I have been feeling well and things have been going really well. I will have to add some pictures as my belly continues to grow!

Take Care!

Etsy

As a lot of you who know me know, I love handmade things. Pottery was my passion in high school, maybe again someday when I can afford it.

A friend of mine introduced me to this website, Etsy. It's awesome! I could spend hours on it just looking. Here is a sampling of what I really like!

Winter Trip

Chris had his IWCA (International Window Cleaners Assoc) conference again this year. We headed out to San Diego on Valentines day. We got to hang out in the warm weather for a week. It was super warm, well except for the water, which Connor and I felt when we got nailed by a big wave down near the mexican border. Chris just laughed from the rocks.

We headed up to LA on Sunday and met up with Peter. We drove around LA for the day and got to see the Hollywood sign. It was really cool up in the mountains there. We went up to the observatory, it's really cool and has amazing views. We went to Santa Monica peer and back to West Hollywood. We packed a whole lot into one day, but when are we ever going to go back! I go to see the outside of LA Ink (one of my favorite shows).

We went to SeaWorld, the Zoo and went whale watching. I will upload a video from that later. The Zoo was amazing. All the animals! I loved it. Tons of walking, but it's really worth it.

On the last night with Peter we went out to dinner on the bay. The food was awesome and the view was great. Here are some pics.
